Abstract : Subsurface imaging techniques (tomography) with seismic waves have been discovered in the 19th century, and began intensively carried out in the early 20th century (around the 1920s) for oil and gas exploration purposes. Until now, tomography techniques are still actively carried out, not only for exploration purposes, but also for mitigation. As geoscientists face the industrial revolution 4.0, which is the era of digitization and robotic, tomography processing techniques also experience development and adjustment, along with the demands of increasingly complex cases, and the era of digital efficiency. One of the new breakthroughs in tomography processing techniques is the migrated process from solving deterministically to heuristic with a digital artificial intelligence approach, which offers not only one accurate solution, but also a variety of other possibilities accurately. This project tends to approve the ability of the Simulated annealing (SA) in semblance analysis during the inversion process determining the Acoustic Impedance attributes. With the preliminary test of the synthetic data set, the validation of the algorithm has been performed and given a best fitted model of 1-D velocity model. A further study has been conducted as well as for testing the robustness of the code that is to put a real data set of 1-D Marine seismic velocity data. The result shows that a good velocity semblance can be constructed.
