| Abstract | : | Watershed morphometry is measurable aspects that can indicate the response of a watershed to the hydrological process. This aspect also affects the potential of watershed damage such as erosion, sedimentation, and flooding. Morphometric mapping needs to be done to describe the condition of the watershed and determine the appropriate conservation program. The purpose of this study is to assess the morphometric aspects of the Oya watershed located in Yogyakarta. This aspect divided into three dimensions, namely linear, area, and relief aspects. Stages of the study began by delineating the river, basin, and sub-basin using hydrologic tools. The second stage is to calculate the morphometric characters using the results of the hydrologic model. The result of this process is a map of water flow and watershed boundaries. The Oya watershed consists of 198 sub-watersheds, the majority of which are irregular in shape and have dendritic patterns. Medium flow density ranges from 3-5.4 with an average bifurcation ratio index of 1-6 while the river slope ranges from 5-140%. That is, some of them are vulnerable to the process of Erosion and Flooding. |
