Abstract : We apply weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (WCSPH) method for modelling fluid flow around airfoil. The airfoil geometry is developed by National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) four-digit 0012 series. Scenarios are applied by giving variations of angle of attack. The simulation is done by designing a numerical wind tunnel in which there are no-slip condition for upper and lower boundaries, also inflow and outflow areas in the left and right boundaries. Fluid particles are generated to the tunnel in the inflow region and destroyed from the tunnel in the outflow region. The unknown parameters are the position, speed, velocity of the fluid particles, which are determined from inviscid Navier-Stokes equation using WCSPH method. The results show symmetrical and disordered pattern of the fluid particles.
