Abstract : Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a systemic and fatal disease caused by feline coronavirus (FCoV). Clinically there are three types of FIP. Wet type FIP is commonly found with an accumulation of high protein-rich effusive within body cavities. The dry type is characterized by granulomatous lesions in almost all organs and the most challenging to diagnose. Mixed-type FIP is characterized either by accumulation of effusion within body cavities and massive granulomatous inflammatory lesions. Skin manifestations were reported several times related to systemic FIP virus infection. However, cutaneous lesions are sometimes subtle and unrecognized. Mixed-type FIP, in this case was obtained from Healthy Pet Clinic, Madiun, East Java. The cat was diagnosed with mixed-type FIP based on its consistent clinical signs, laboratory findings, post mortem, and histopathological analysis. The cutaneous lesion was found during examination with partial alopecia in the neck and head, crusted nodule, and multiple nodules in the most head and neck. Dermatological health status is essential to support an antemortem diagnosis. The skin lesion may difficult to detect in well-haired skin yet, and it needs to perform regarding supporting the suspicion.
