Abstract : Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) become broadly used in various application including agricultural studies. The advantages of low-cost equipment, flexible, high data novelty, high data resolution, and multispectral sensor development allow more detail observation. Knowing the rice growth phase (phenology) is an essential part of productivity estimation as well as agricultural mapping. This research aims to do experimental flights over rice fields and produce basic spatial data for spectral correlation analysis between field-reflectance data and multispectral imagery. UAV with multispectral visible camera and infrared camera was used to acquire aerial photography at every growth stage: vegetative, reproductive, and ripening stage, while field samplings using spectrometer were taken at the same day after the flight to collect rice-field reflectance. Moreover, planting date information and productivity each field was derived from participatory mapping with farmers. Results show that UAV with multispectral sensor can produce high multispectral imagery for further analysis. Furthermore, this result can be compared to and combined with the additional field data for spectral correlation analysis, as well as productivity correlation and estimation.
