Abstract : "Introduction: 3D technology has been widely used for learning in education. It can boost students’ knowledge, so it is useful to complement learning techniques in the medical field. Mobile application specially augmented reality (MAR) is a dynamic way for users to interact with computers and digital information. However, there are still limitations regarding the use of mobile augmented reality to promote the learning of anatomy because studies to date have just focused on developing and using it as a learning tool. Specifically, there is still a need to observe the impressions of users regarding their experience of using MAR. Material & Methods: This study aimed to characterize the impressions of users of an augmented reality-based learning medium designed to support the learning of cranial anatomy. Here, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) was used to clarify user experiences. The study included 33 first-year international program medical students at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Results: The results indicated that the highest rating among the students’ impressions of MAR-based learning of cranial anatomy was for perspicuity, with a value of 0.974, followed by dependability at 0.886, and novelty at 0.894. The value obtained for each scale is said to be positive if it is greater than 0.8. Attractiveness received the lowest average value of 0.788. Conclusion: Users of MAR-based media for learning cranial anatomy appreciated the existence of such technology. "
