Abstract | : | Mn1-xNixFe2O4 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using co-precipitation method with various Ni concentrations. The crystal structures and dielectric properties of nanoparticles were analyzed for different Ni concentrations. The crystallite size of nanoparticles decreased from 19.7 to 3.6 nm with the increase of Ni concentration from 0.3 to 0.8. The dielectric properties were studied at frequencies of 10 – 1000 kHz. The dielectric permittivity (real and imaginary) decreased with the increase of frequency up to 200 kHz. The highest real dielectric permittivity (ε’) was 343.3 and the imaginary dielectric permittivity (ε”) was 440.5, for Ni concentration of 0.5 at frequency 10 kHz. Furthermore, the dielectric permittivity of the Mn1-xNixFe2O4 nanoparticles were dependent on the frequency. This type of behavior can be explained by the Maxwell-Wagner model. |
