Abstract : The development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet technology has brought a change in the field of education. This includes changes on the development of e-Learning or electronic learning. This method provides parts or all of lecture materials through computers or other electronic media. As a supportive media learning, e-Learning should be able to provide added value to the process and student learning outcomes. e-Learning developed and used at the Universitas Gadjah Mada called ELISA (e-Learning System for Academic Community). ELISA is expected to support learners to be more active in the learning process, unfortunately until now ELISA has not been used optimally by the academic community. Addressing this issue, any multimedia content added to the selected course in ELISA with the hope of attracting more students to learn by using ELISA. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the addition of multimedia content in the interest of student learning as well as on the level of effectiveness of ELISA as a constructivist learning environment. Multimedia Constructivist Learning Environment Survey (CMLES) was conducted to achieve the goal. Twelve hypotheses was derived from CMLES components. The results showed that the used of multimedia may encourage students in understanding the material. Finally, the use of e-Learning may assist teaching strategy in the blended learning environment.
