Abstract : In this paper, some time-dependent heat conduction problems in anisotropic solids are considered. The governing equations of the problems are transformed into a modified Helmholtz equations. The modified Helmholtz equations with respect to transformed boundary conditions are solved numerically using a Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Method (DRBEM). The method is tested using several problems involving heat conduction in anisotropic solids. Numerical results obtained from a problem with analytical solutions have a good accuracy. Moreover, the method is implemented to obtain variation of heat as time increases.
