| Abstract | : | Optimizing toll charges can be described as a fuzzy bilinear bilevel problems, namely bilinear bilevel optimization problem involving the objective function coefficients having fuzzy value. The problem consists of upper level problem, a crisp bilinear optimization problem, that determines the optimization of lower level problem having fuzzy value. Finding the optimal solution of this problem, we can use an effective algorithm based on the membership function approach under the assumption that the lower level decision maker can select a single optimal solution. By using this solution, the upper level optimization problem is solved using a stability region. This algorithm provides us with a global optimal solution of the fuzzy bilinear bilevel optimization problem. Furthermore, the algorithm will be applied on an example of a problem in optimizing toll charges in Semarang traffic network. © 2016 Author(s). |
