| Abstract | : | AbstractCommunity service programs UGM vocational schools aimed at improving capabilities in the field of education for the students of SMK N 1 Ngawen Gunung Kidul. Community service program is planned to conduct maintenance training for vocational students excavator N 1 Ngawen in theory in the classroom and the practice in the field. With excavator care training will increase the competence of vocational students majoring in engineering heavy equipment.SMK N 1 Ngawen department heavy equipment UGM Vocational School have collaborated to develop a curriculum heavy equipment. The theory is applied customized to the needs of real jobs. To support the improvement of the quality of education majors heavy equipment, SMK N 1 equipped with lab equipment in accordance with the needs of the field of heavy equipment. To enhance cooperation with SV UGM will do the teaching and learning process conducted by instructors from SV UGM especially the concentration in the field of heavy equipment in the context of community service programs.SMK N 1 Ngawen majors in improving the skills of heavy equipment is equipped with practical tools and machines that are tailored to the real needs in the field. In the field of vocational students Excavator care N 1 Ngawen not get a skill to the maximum, it is because the limitations of the existing equipment in the lab.Key word: Excavators Maintenance |
