| Abstract | : | In order to support the development of vocational education at UGM, one of the programs in the 2017-2022 UGM Strategic Plan is the development of Vocational Teaching Industry (VTI). One of the Centers of Excellence (CoE) that will be developed is the Smart and Green Building Information Modeling (BIM) Center. BIM Center is planned to be one of the main facilities for teaching industry learning in infrastructure. The application of BIM to infrastructure is developing faster as owners and service providers of engineering are increasingly aware of the benefits of 3D modeling using smart objects. However, the adoption of this technology in the academic field is still inadequate, so graduates have not yet mastered the use of BIM. Along with the development of the BIM Center at SV UGM, it is necessary to develop a BIM learning strategy at the BIM Center of TILC SV UGM. The research was carried out through four stages. First, conduct a comprehensive review of the literature relating to integrating BIM in construction engineering education. Second, brainstorming the type of information should be collected to answer the purpose of this research. Third, design a survey to obtain information and experience of BIM in the construction industry. Fourth, formulate BIM learning strategies for infrastructure at the TILC SV BIM Center. The outputs of this study include: 1). Curriculum evaluation related to the adoption of BIM technology at SV UGM; 2). BIM-based learning programs and methods in TILC SV; 3). Scientific publications on proceedings and accredited journals. |
