| Abstract | : | In this talk, we present our results related to the number of representations of a positive integer as a sum of two binary quadratic forms. In particular, we study the functions T a D (b,c,d) (n) and S a D (b,c,d) (n) which count the number of representations of a positive integer n by a(x 2 −x)/2+b(cy 2 −dy) and ax 2 +b(cy 2 −dy) respectively. We find some explicit formulas for certain values of c and d. For example when (c, d) ∈ {(4, 3), (4, 1)}, we obtain 162 formulas for T a D (b,c,d) (n) and S a D (b,c,d) (n). We also obtain 196 formulas for S a D (b,c,d) (n) when (c, d) ∈ {(5, 2), (5, 4)}. |
