| Abstract | : | Sexual well-being is an important aspect that composes the overall well-being of individuals. Unfortunately, not everyone easily reaches the state of welfare. One group that still has difficulties fulfilling its sexual welfare is adult women with physical disabilities. This research is a photovoice study to find out how women with physical disabilities achieve sexual well-being. The participants of this study were 5 adult women with physical disabilities who worked at a foundation for coaching people with disabilities. The results of this study are that participants still experience many obstacles in seizing their sexual rights such as difficulty accessing sexual health services. However, the participants also continued to fight for the emancipation of persons with disabilities. Gender inequality and taboos still limit them in obtaining information about sexuality. Meanwhile, their perception of sexuality was formed from each participant's personal experiences and the conditions of their social environment. The more positive perceptions about their sexuality. |
