Abstract | : | Urban flooding due to both social and engineering factors is an annual issue worldwide. The lack of studies on inundation flood modeling and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inspired the development of this research on urban area flooding. This paper presents inundation modeling, considering cities with a high density of settlements. The UAV technology was used to obtain the coverage area and depth of flood inundation to determine the vulnerability level of the watershed. The UAV mining data were used to produce both a digital elevation model (DEM) and orthophotos, a process that involved several data acquisition stages. The study area was Belik watershed, an urban area, and it was divided into four vulnerable zones. The result showed that the restoration program priority of the zones ranked in decreasing order was as follows: zone 4, zone 1, zone 3, and zone 2, with a flooding volume of 2.13, 2.05, 0.82, and 0.41 hectares of a 2 m height flood, respectively. |
