Ari Budhiyanti was born in Yogyakarta, March 10, 1971. Completed her Bachelor's
Degree at the UGM Faculty of Agricultural Technology in 1995, her Master's
Degree in Food Technology (1999) and earned a Doctorate in Food Science at the
UGM Faculty of Agricultural Technology in 2013. Worked as a Lecturer at the
Faculty of Agriculture since 1997. Has expertise in fishery product processing technology,
particularly related to processing biochemistry and seaweed antioxidants. The
research conducted is mainly related to the extraction of microalgae,
macroalgae, and their application to food products. Has been the head of the
fish processing technology laboratory at the UGM fisheries department since
2016 and has been a resource person or speaker related to the development of processed
fish products for small and medium industries since 2003.
